A little hard to make at the campgrounds but I make it when I am planning on haveing guests over.
Now that it is time for these hardy meals I figured I wouild post it.
\
3 cups, wide uncooked egg noodles
2-10oz Pkg Frozen mixed veggies
1 lb. hamburg
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
1 cup Ketchup
1-4 oz can sliced drained mushrooms
2-14 oz cans of whole tomatoes
2 tsp salt
Pepper to taste

Cook noodles according to Pkg; rinse and drain and lightly oil.
Prep veggies according to Pkg.
Brown hamburg, onions and celery, drain off fat,
In a 2 qt covered casserole dish, mix this with all remaining ingredients and
Bake in 350 degree, preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Or, while camping, In a large cast iron pot near open fire, or on hot coals to keep just simmering till flavor blends.
Enjoy

Alf, you may as well be there as anywhere as my dad always said "if you can't be over there you may as well be here". ????
What ever that ment.
Hope you enjoy the goulash and I soon plan to post a real good fish chow-dah, as they say in Maine.
