A great tasting salad dressing , just in time for summer salads.
HollyHock Dressing
1/2 cup Brewers yeast, powdered < find it in bulk food section or health section.
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
water added to desired thickness
combine all ingrediants in bowl and drizzle on a fresh garden salad. Brewers yeast is often
called nutritional yeast
Perfect for a hot summer dinner, Today it is slated to be 94 , hot for this part of Oregon
Enjoy

Taylor,

If you're making salad dressing why is the first ingredient dressing?

You might want to edit the oil and vinegar lines to indicate units; ounces, cubic yards, tonnes.

But, it doesn't have any hollyhocks in it?

Or do you pour it over the hollyhocks?

(just kidding)

Thanks for sharing!

I'm guessing nobody's going to be thrilled when I say:

It's a relative of okra... (Hibiscus esculenta)

They're both in the Malvaceae family.

Hollyhockra?

The salad dressing sounds good to me. Brewers yeast is the best natural source of b vitamins. It's an aquired taste. You don't see it in recipes very often. Thanks.

Some people prefer Apple cider Vinegar . The creator of this recipe is always looking for ways to incorporate nutritional ingredients into her menus.
We seem unable to escape from Okra.
