Irish Oatmeal
Here's a great food I discovered for camping, and home as well: McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal. It is wonderful stuff. More granular than flaky, and with a great nutty flavor. A small bowl of this will keep you full til lunchtime. You'll never go back to Quaker's Instant. Not that easy to find, but I have found it in health food stores and the gourmet section of the market.
Can anyone give me a recipe for downhome style cornbread?
