Can't say I've ever posted in the Food & Recipes forum before. Thought I'd take a bite out of it.

You know it, you love it, you've heard it done but you doubt it yourself...

Manifold Destiny

My first try was just heating up a couple brats, onions and peppers on a trip to New York.

You're a romantic....Salmon Enchanted Evening you take your beau out for a drive and dinner....

"Where are we going, honey."

"Why...just a few more miles, my dear."

"I think I smell parsley, sage, rosemary and thyne."

"7:17pm dear."

"Huh?"

And then, smoothly pulling into the tastefully lit back corner of the Walmart lot, you nonchalantly pop the hood. Voila! A dinner fit for a road hog.

Steve! You've found the perfect solution! Who says we need an oven in our trailers?

in 1954 when traveling from Spokane Washington with our 3 month old son I found that a baby bottle fit nicly down beside the exaust manifold of our 47 plymouth 6 cylinder. Just checking to see if I can figure out what this new format is all about I ain' no rocket scientist you know.

Har! Yee make funeth this style of cooking!

I have perculated coffee on my VW Bus manifold. Necessity is the mother of invention, and when you run out of propane in the middle of nowhere, you set priorities.

Wood too wet (In Oregon) to get a decent fire going, I was desperate!

Had the fire going by mid day, and you can beleive it never went out. I wasn't fryin the burgers on an upright engine!
