Ok... I tried it.
Just mix up some Bisquick and spread it all over the bottom of the cast iron camping pot/pan.
Cover and put it on the fire.
When the Bisquick has risen about half way pour a can of beef stew on it and cover again

I tired it.. it was awesome.
