I love cilantro and, because I am into holistic health, I make sure to always include it in making tuna salad because it binds with heavy metals, thus preventing them from getting stuck in the body's tissues when eating canned (tinned) fish and fish that naturally (or by virtue of human contamination of water bodies) contains heavy metals.

Cilantro is used in many commercially sold heavy metal cleanse products for this very reason. An excellent herb!
