How delightful to see this thread continuing and so many that enjoy Rhubarb!
It's been such a crazy, busy summer with the selling of my design studio, moving all that, and the selling of my home, I never got to make my desert...and, secretly, I love the large leaves in my flower beds!
I, too, am just salivating over all these recipes! Now, we just have to wait for next year's crop!
Or, does Rhubarb grow year 'round down South?
If I take a root from my plant here, will it grow pretty easily? Do you plant it deep or shallow?
If I do get to it before the snow flies, I'd be happy to send anyone a root as well! There was a few notes on the thread about finding it, may as well grow it!
Cheers!
PS, I'm off to New York City for a dose of art and opera! If you write, I' won't be home for a week.
www.studiogigi.net for garden pictures of the rhubarb!
Kudos to all you Betty Crocker winners. I'd be a hoot to see all the winners from my same year and what everyone's doing now. Is there a common thread here amongst winners?
lata, gatas!
