Never heard of any tradition foodwise until I moved to Pennsylvania years ago. Sauerkraut and Kolbasse was the thing at my sister in laws house.

Yeap, Polska Kielbasa and Sauerkraut that's our tradition. My German Grandfather always made the sauerkraut when I was a kid. We slice the Kielbasa and saute' it with the Kraut.

I love pizza. And guess what, Polska Kielbasa and Kraut is great as pizza. I use the leftovers for the pizza. I just put it on the pizza dough and add mozzarella, pecorino romano, swiss and a little american cheese.

Gosh I'm making myself hungry. Guess what I'm having tomorrow.

Germans eating Polish sausage, that was sorta like Americans eating Mexican food.
