No Bake

Jana ,it is in a round cardboard container with a metal lid.You use 3 tbs custard powder 3tbs sugar and 3cups milk ,I use skim. If you can't find it try this...

Bring 1 cup milk to slow boil
mix together 1/4cup flour.1/4cup sugar,1egg, vanilla, add milk slowly=cuss egg!for Tom.
Let me know if it works:conf

back to soda Cracker pie

Just got back from a Tribal get together. a Pot luck.. I took soda cracker pie. even made one for the diabetics. used that sugar sub. looked different , tasted just about as good. Everyone was going back for seconds. and if they didn't try it the first time through the line, they went back and got it. So thinks to Charles for this fine recipe.:thumb It was really a hit.

Thanks, Jana ... amazing how good a bunch of crumbled soda crackers can taste!

I'm still waiting for my piece of commission. I figure the slice of pie got lost in the mail.:)

commission

Let's see now, I've fixed one pie, then I fixed 4 times the recipe so that would be 5 pieces total. a pie has 8 pieces. won't belong, and I'll owe you a whole pie. :)

no walnuts.

I don't know why not. just put in something along that line you like. (or can eat) almonds maybe or which ever your not allergic to. the man thing you notice are the dates and the baked egg whites. you might be able to leave out the nuts completely. worth a try. they sure did like it with the sugar substitute.

"the man thing.... dates and baked eggs whites"
No wonder I don't like dates--they're a 'man thing'
