Raspberries!!
I planted 5 canes of a
fall bearer (can't remember variety) last spring. They produced just enough berries last year to eat for breakfast each day. Reluctantly, I cut all the canes last
fall except one to encourage (so-called)
fall bearing. The canes came back as a thicket! I had enough berries for breakfast starting in June. They came into full flush in late August and I have been picking 1 to 2 pints every other day! I keep intending to make jam, but no time so I am giving away excess.
Then there is the usual...tomatoes, okra,
eggplant (white striped japanese type), beans, onions, etc. I love summer!
