Thanksgiving turkey

Went camping this weekend with the Las Vegas Dutch Oven Society at Lake Mead. We had a Thanksgiving cookout. Here is a link to how one person cooked the turkey. It was fabulous. All dishes were very good, weather was perfect and fun was had by all.

Alice, that is so amazing. Thanks for sharing it. I don't think I'll try it this year, but maybe some other time. I bet there was a lot of great food there.

Glad you enjoyed the writeup. We had more than enough food, and it was all terrific. We invited people around us in the campground for dinner. There was a couple from Germany who came. They shipped their RV over and are traveling around the US for a year. They were in the LV area because their son came over for a month and there are direct flights from Frankfurt to LV. And, he did want to experience LV.
