Easy Pull-Apart Breakfast Bread
The original recipe called for Bridgford frozen Parkerhouse style rolls. I also use Rhodes frozen white dinner rolls and they work just as well. Generously butter a tube pan (angel food cake pan) and sprinkle with 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Stack and arrange 18 frozen rolls evenly in pan. Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and a 3.5 ounce package cook & serve, vanilla pudding mix (not instant). Pour mixture over frozen rolls. Cover with a tea towel and let stand at room temperature overnight. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 25 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then invert on a plate and serve by pulling apart. This recipe works best with a one piece pan. If you use a two piece pan, line with aluminum foil to prevent
leaks. Tom Trostel
