Mike Magee- This is the PIE recipe I won several Dessert Competitions while camping with my Boy Scouts.
If you don't have fresh key limes available, a lot of places now carry bottled key lime juice. Or you can substitute any other citrus juice.
Deepdish Key Lime Pie
1 premade deepdish crumb crust
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2/3 cup Key Lime Juice
Stir up the milk and citrus juice and turn into the crumb crust. In about 30 minutes the mix will be jelled and ready to eat. For the "icing on the cake" stir in a small amount of grated zest and top with whipped cream.
Worth waiting 3 years for, right??
