He could probably have gotten the charges dismissed (for sure in the U.S.) because the guy who booked him (Jack Lord) was dead! That's an even better defense than claiming that his Miranda rights were violated. Did he demand extradition back to Canada?:cheers

I never thought about the fact that Jack was dead. Our Premier - Gordon Campbell just might have a case to get all charges dismissed...but then again I got this picture this morning:
