Darn Cat

A man absolutely hated his wife's cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park.

As he was getting home, the cat was walking up the driveway.

The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home.

Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat!

He kept taking the cat further and further and the cat would always beat him home. At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and left the cat there.

Hours later the man calls home to his wife: "Jen, is the cat there?"

"Yes," the wife answers, "why do you ask?"

Frustrated, the man answered, "Put him on the phone, I'm lost! and need directions!"

We had the utility body open on our farm service truck, closed it, and drove 15-20 miles to another farm of ours. When we opened a door on the bed a few hours later, one of the farm cats shot out, pissed off, and hit the ground running. We couldn't get near her, and figured that was that.

The next morning she was on our front porch railing, like nothing happened...

I guess I had a dumb cat.
When I was a kid I would throw it on top of the house.
Then I would climb up the walnut tree next to the house to get on the roof.
The cat would come to me, I would pick it up and sling it as far as I could.
It would spread out like a flying squirrel and land on all fours.
I would climb down the tree, call the cat, and sling it back up on the roof.
I would climb up the tree, call the cat, and sling it as far as I could.
Over and over we did this. And the cat always landed on all fours.
I would lose interest and quit. I guess the cat liked this game.
