Very appropriate today, Des. London, ON received over 28" of snow yesterday and last night. I imagine there are more than a few 'eggs' that look something like that. LOL

I'm in St. Marys just a few miles N/E of London and we only received about 2-4 inches. 28 in seems a little off. Possibly that was 2-8cm ?, and it' mighty cold,
22f (11c) .

This is a pic of a friend's BBQ in London yesterday. A little more snow than 2-8 cm., Ron. LOL

Ok guys stop the crying about the snow its Pretty!!! I am currently packing to head out to Banff National Park to work at a World cup ski race in Lake Louise for 10 days - my crew already there are advising temps in the -30 C (-22 F in American Speak) range this past week! Warmed up now but looking at the 14 day forecast its dipping back down to really cold again in the early mornings! I would be happy with it snowing as it would mean its warmer!

Cant decide if I should sign off with a Gurrrrr or Buurrrrrr

Welcome to Alberta Carole. The weather reports, any further then two days out, should be viewed with a great deal of skepticism. 14 days is an outright lie.

LOL David, yup I know the drill - you never know what the weather will really bring thats why I carry such a big back pack of stuff each day :-) I am *really* hoping the current forecast of the return of the cold snap is a lie ! but just in case my balaclava face mask, box of hand warms and batteries on my boot heaters are charged up & packed ;-)

Your right Noreen,
We live 30 min from London (NE) and just shows how a little distance and the different weather pattern. Officially London rec'd 30 cm on Saturday and another 10 cm on Sunday. That's 18 inches for you southern folks). We here in St. Marys rec'd only about 8-10 cm over the last 4 days.
