How do I cancel a bid on E-Bay?

It is my neighbor's kid's birthday, so I put in a bid on E-bay for a Mickey Mouse outfit.

Now I find that if I can't cancel the bid in the next 15 minutes, I'll own the entire BC Government!

Uh, what are you saying? If you placed a bid you should honor it, the only way to cancel is to contact the seller and ask his permission, if they agree then they might not make you pay.

Yup we do! You only have to look at the list of Premier's and Cabinet Ministers from BC who have been caught up in some pretty crazy stuff. No point in getting stressed out about it, much better to just laugh at ourselves. Who wouldn't find at least some humor in picking up the morning paper and seeing a mug shoot taken in Hawaii of your unshaven Premier after having tied on a real good one while his wife was away and landing in jail. Actually gain votes for it in the next election!!! Just one of the boys after all! You can only laugh, as coming up with a reasonable explanation for it isnt possible

Don't feel bad, James, it took me a couple of read-throughs to figure the Canuck humor out.
I'm kinda slow down here in the states....
LOL Dave, it made me smile

All the assets of the BC government for the price of a mickey mouse suit. Sounds like a bargain to me. Don't blame me, I voted NDP.

Yup Jim its a shame that your King Klein had to leave his throne - we in BC really miss getting our share of giggles from you folks in Alberta - things on your side of the line seem to have gotten way to dull since he left LOL to many funny moments to recall with the King... he for sure trumped our Mug Shoot boy on many occasions. It is indeed very Canadian HUMOUR!

When I lived in the NWT in the late 70's (pre-satellite dish etc era), we (believe it or not) got our one and only TV channel by local rebroadcast of CBC-BC.

Political coverage kept me in stitches laughing at the (then) Minister for Social Services and his perpetual foot-in-mouth disease. An idiot named Bill Van Der Zalm.

Then (after living in Fort McMurray and other places as well for a while) when I moved to the Wet Coast in the late 80's - Guess who was busy being elected as Premier? I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!

To err is human - to screw things up beyond any hope of redemption is just "BC Politics as usual"

Oh I miss Ralph! He was definitely one of the boys. Only in Canada can someone have such profound personal issues, and at the same time be the most popular premiere we have ever had. All this in the conservative west.
