Ice Fishing

Two Men from warmer climes wanted to do some ice fishing, and took off for Canada to try it. The lake they picked was frozen, so they stopped at a nearby shop to get bait and tackle.

"We're going to need an ice pick," one man said. They bought one and left.

Two hours later, the other man returned and told the shop owner he'd need to buy a couple more ice picks. The owner sold him two picks, and the man left.

An hour later, the first man came back to the shop and said, "We're going to need all the ice pick you've got."

The owner couldn't believe it. "How are you fellows doing?" he asked.

"Not very well at all," the man replied. "We don't even have the stupid boat in the water yet."

I haven't seen that problem out my back window yet here in Wisconsin.

That's good. I have a true story along those lines. Now remember I've been in Arizona for a long time and ice fishing is not to common around here.

Several years ago I mentioned to a friend that we should head to northern Arizona in the winter and try some ice fishing. (We had done well on a couple lakes in the summer). He got excited about the thought of it and told me.... "That sounds great, I'll bring my cordless drill along so we can drill a hole to drop the hook through".... I laughed hard and he wondered why I was laughing. Then I asked him if he caught a fish, how would he get it through the little hole?.... He never thought of that! Ha..ha.. We had a good laugh.
