Unhappy long hard winter

I hear that the folks in northern USA and in Canada have been enduring a really tough winter. They say it's been so cold, even the snowmen can't take it.

Us Texans are laughing at them. Payback for rubbing it in our faces during 100 plus degree temperatures! Lol

We got between 14" and 20" of fresh snow on Tues /Wed of this week. We shoveled the deck and roof off 3 times . Ice is still on the lake and they are still ice fishing . I've been to texas in the Summer and much prefer our Winters. Most of the snow should be gone by next week and Ice out will be at the end of this month . It's sunny and 30 Deg this morning with NO bugs .
Spring , Summer , and Fall are much more precious and you appreciate them more after a long winter like this one!

Hey, we were in Texas this winter. What with having 23 cold fronts blowing through it was nothing to brag about.
However, It is hard to get sympathy when cold means putting socks in your sandals.

We got a total of about 4" of snow up here in western Canada over the entire winter. The lack of snow this year resulted in a few ski hills opening late and closing early. Currently sunny and spring has come into full bloom.

Tell the truth Carol, you are not in Western Canada, you are on the tropical coast :P
I am working on the Boler today but inside my basement on bits and pieces ... just looked outside and it is snowing again. The Easter bunnies have no idea what is happening.

I had better consult my GPS.... nope it says I am still on the side of Mt. Fromme in North Vancouver.... kind of wish I was in fact on the tropical coast though!

our looooonnnnng winter has finally come to an end, but the mild temps on thursday caused massive flooding due to ice jamming on the rivers. places that had no history of flooding, flooded.
wicked.

bridges have been dislodged and 2 covered bridges completely floated away!
sometimes mother nature is cruel.

Smile Wisconsin/Minnesota

A surveyor visits a farmer on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border.
"I am terribly sorry to disturb you, but our most recent surveys reveal that your farm is located in Wisconsin, not Minnesota as previously platted."
"Thank God!" said the farmer. "I don't think I could take another Minnesota winter!"
