Yeah, a 50 meter rise would wipe out nearly the entire state of Florida. They'd have to call it Flood-ida.

We need to show this around to everyone who vacations in that state and create a panic... and then maybe a winter campsite at Bahia Honda would not be unobtainium!

Global warming predictions are valueless, an indication of the vanity of man.

Gore predicted that the Arctic Ocean would be ice free this year when he received the Noble Prize and we have the highest level in 10 years. Gore predicted numerous and huge hurricanes and FL has not seen a hurricane in 8-9 years. Forest fires and tornadoes are both down in extent and frequency.

Reality always wins.

You and three per cent of scientists agree.

Have to agree with you.
Probably best that we do nothing.

I have read books and articles that documented the corruption, falsification of measurements, and arm twisting that have accompanied the research in support of man-made warming. I also read an article by an old physicist who participated in a study back in the 1950s which demonstrated conclusively that CO2 is a bit player greenhouse gas. It only absorbs specific, narrow, limited wavelengths of radiation; moreover, CO2 levels at that time period already absorbed virtually all (99+%) of those wavelengths that could be absorbed by CO2, and since adding more CO2 cannot absorb greater than 100%, the study proved that increasing CO2 levels could not have an effect on earth temps.

With climate, there is not much I can worry about. The one constant about climate is that it is constantly changing and has been doing so now for about 4.54 billion years - as long as the earth is old. Climate keeps swinging both ways-hot to cold and back, monsoon to drought and back... even the Sahara slips back and forth from desert to grassland, and then back again. As for Florida, it was once under the sea completely at least once in its most recent history, but any sea rise to put it back there again will be slow enough that neither of us will be around to see it happen-if it even does happen

Good News.

"IPCC admission from new report: ‘no evidence climate change has led to even a single species becoming extinct’?" as reported March of 2014.
