Heh... when I was going to SD Tech in the early 70's a Fun Geek Date would be to go up to Rushmore at night in the middle of winter with a powerful flashlight and illuminate the monument. Sadly, I think they would haul you away if you tried that now. I much preferred Rushmore in it's more rustic state before they Albert Speerized it.

Since Mr Rushmore is in South Dakota and approximately 330 miles from the Canadian border, they must have some powerful telescopes in Canada.
