The Trailer Goddess and I were out Christmas shopping at the Coquitlam Center Mall here in B.C. about 2 weeks before Christmas and the mall was packed.
Walking through the mall my surprised wife looked around and noticed that I was no where to be found and she was very upset because we had a lot more mall tramping to do.
The Trailer Goddess used her cell phone to call me (because she was so distraught), to ask me where I was.
I (in a calm voice) said, "Honey, do you remember the jewlery store we went into 20 years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we could not afford and I told you that I would get it for you one day??"
The Trailer Goddess, sobbing, replied, "Yes, I remember that jewelry store."
I responded, "Great!!, Well I'm in the pub right next door to it."
Her: I'm going to take your vintage Mustang out for something special.
Him: OK, do you need any help?
Her: No my love, I don't want to ruin it.
Him: (Caveman bowed up and excited) Here are the keys.
Several days later
Him: When's the Mustang coming back?
Her: How do you like my necklace?
