Pam, is the coast clear?
Last night, instead of going to my usual Monday Possum Lodge club meeting, I stayed home.
When the phone rang, I picked it up. Before I could say anything, some man asked "Pam, is the coast clear?"
I was really angry.
We live at least a 1,000 miles (2200 km) from the nearest coast.
Why in the world did this idiot think Pam would know if the weather at the coast was clear?
Pam tells me she thinks the guy must have called the wrong number.
