Just as the Coffee Shop opened a man showed up carrying a shotgun and leading a male moose. He ordered a cup of coffee, slugged it down and shot the moose, making a huge mess. Without a word he sauntered out the door and disappeared.
The next morning he was back, leading another male moose. The owner of the Coffee Shop stopped him at the door and said, “You can’t come in. We’re still trying to clean up the mess you made yesterday. Why the blazes did you do that, anyhow?”
“Well,” drawled the man, “I’m running for Congress and figured I had to practice being a Politician.”
“Huh, what do you mean?” gasped the Coffee Shop owner, eyeing the shotgun.
“Oh, you know,” replied the man, “Drink a cup of coffee, shoot the bull, make a big mess for somebody else to clean up and disappear for the rest of the day.”
