So a Russian Cosmonaut crash landed his spacecraft in the Australian outback. When he comes too he looks down at himself and realizes this isn't good, bandages and casts everywhere. He see's a nurse coming towards him and asks "Did I come here to die?"
"No" replied the nurse, "you came here yesterday"

Please, Gina D, I want to go this room. All the interesting -- er, I, um, I mean -- BAD people could go there, or be sent there. As an All-Powerful Moderator, Miss, could you not SEND people to this place?

(Then I would know where to start on www.fib for the most fun stuff.)

Sincerely,
Char

I am probably one of few that remember this joke from The BBC sitcom called Dads Army (about the British home guard in WW2).
Capt. Mannering told it of a young Australian arriving at the front lines in WW1.
Story line was of a general boosting moral in the trenches before the troops go over top.
He spots the young Aussie and asks..
Well son..did you come here to die?
Long pause for affect and then....
"No mate i got ere yesterdie"
If no one else remembers that show I guess i am older than i think i am

Must have been a radio show. I remember no television, but I don't remember that show.
