The one in the middle. The guy on the left has to drive. The one on the right has to open the gates. A real cowboy ain't gonna do that stuff less'n he has to!

And of course, this reminds me of another story. Last (2020) September as I was leaving Yellow Stone, headed for Cody just after dark, I was stuck behind a slow-moving car. Slow for my driving speed and I generally keep it well under 60 on two lane highways. As we approached a semi-safe location to pass, the car snapped it over onto the shoulder and I jumped on the gas as I pulled into the left lane and then stood on the brake. I stopped just in time to get a close look at bison butt slowly walking along like he OWNED the road. Who was I to argue?
