Oh Yeah! And if that didn't work she would lay across your head till you stopped breathing and came up gasping for air.

How did you get the video of Jerry?

Now you know why we try to keep Jerry from sleeping too much during the day - or, he keep us from sleeping at night. Even Mike helped to keep Jerry awake at Jalama Beach .

Beautiful!

My first cat, the late great Nelson, stood on top of my bureau and knocked things off til I woke up: the alarm clock (still ringing) then the lamp (crash!).

He was very good with the swiping of the paw.

Our new cat, Kato, has a certain loud Muh! to wake us up. Then a human must look at, or shake her food bowl, or fill it. Then ten minutes later, she wakes someone else again - Muh! Muh! to go outside.

I have tried to teach her how to open a partly-ajar door with her paw, but she prefers words to action.

One day hubby and I were walking along the strrets of our town and an orange tom was meowing at a door as we passed by. He looked at us, and clearly said, "Humans! Operate the door knob, come on, come here little humans!" And we stopped and explained we had no key, and he said Meow! Stupid humans, trying to use words instead of their paws.
