More on the home made boat subject. Back in the 60's a friends brother took a big round gas station sign, may have been Gulf, it was double sided and hollow, sort of like two bowls put together, and cut a hole in the center of one side so he could sit in it. Now today that old gas station stuff can be quite valuable, but back then it wasn't collectible and only worth scrap value.
