LOL, that could describe a scientist. One of our jokes at work (I'm a chemistry professor) is that what a scientist does when she sees a "Wet Paint" sign is touch the paint to see if it is really wet. (Guess what, it usually isn't!)

Actually, Bobbie, I confess to having edited it. When I copied it from usenet, it said scientist.

I'm an engineer and we have several technicians, so I changed it to techie for broader appeal.
