The Aristocrats

Far be it from me to dis anyone's ride, but we were headed home from work today when this well-loved trailer pulled up alongside us and out of the corner of my eye I see ARISTOCRAT on the back bumper.

We had to chuckle!

Hummmm.... There is even an "LE" (Luxury Edition) within the licence plate number.

Well, there's pic proof that one old sticky is still on the road and being used, nice.

I belong to several vintage groups and there are some truly gorgeous ones out there, and many like this, that are well loved. I'm a huge fan of the older trailers over the new styles. Usually when I camp with them, there are a couple of tiny FG trailers like mine too! Makes it interesting

If it weren't for the issues inherent with aluminum stickies, I'd have one. Some are absolutely fabulous. I belong to a couple of the same vintage groups as Pam. But oh my... the rot! All-molded-towable owners complain about leaking vents/windows and rivets. Trust me, that's not an issue when comparing to vintage.

I see people looking and smiling at us towing the Scamp down the road, I wonder what they are thinking?
