Answer: Three hours after he/she falls asleep on the couch.

Answer: There is not enough time to get everything done.

Answer: The term comes with a 10% percent discount.

Answer: Tied shoes.

Answer: They are the only ones who have the time.

Answer: NUTS !

Answer: They know that as soon as they do, one of their adult kids will want to store stuff there.

Answer: Normal.

Answers: The never ending Coffee Break.

Question: What's the biggest advantage of going back to school as a retiree?
Answer: If you cut classes, no one calls your parents.

Question: Why does a retiree often say he doesn't miss work, but misses the people he used to work with?
Answer: He is too polite to tell the whole truth.

Lucky ducky!

At 8:25 am, the local cafe is filled with retirees enjoying their second cup of coffee with breakfast, while I rush in to get a bacon-n-egger to go!

My lovely retired neighbour pours me extremely strong rum-n-sevens for us (on weeknights!) and complains when she has to go to the plumbing shop to buy a part. She say, "I'd rather go for coffee and then buy a nice jacket with that $70!"


PS You-all deserve it! My lovely retired neighbour also talks about what the local "hospital" was like when she had her kids, how the now-paved streets were all sand when she arrived here, dealing with the smoky wood stoves, and how everyone was thrilled when the electricity finally made it this far north....
