Yellow dog

This effete gentleman was walking his mastiff, Zeus, in Central Park when Zeus started snarling and straining at the leash. Zeus seemed really riled at a funny looking little yellow dog on a leash held by his redneck owner.

Zeus strained and snarled as they approached the funny looking little yellow dog so the gentleman told the redneck he'd better keep his funny looking little yellow dog clear. The redneck reponded, "I wouldn't worry."

The gentleman said, "this is a $2,000 dog and he is the world's most ferocious breed. The redneck reponded, "I wouldn't worry."

About then, Zeus broke free and lunged at the funny looking little yellow dog.

The funny looking little yellow dog opened his mouth wide, reached up and, in one snap, took Zeus' head off.

The gentleman was stunned. As he recovered, he asked, "What do you call that funny looking little yellow dog ?"

The redneck responded, "I don't know, before I cut off his tail and painted him yellow, I called him an alligator."

I don't think so, Charles. It might be offensive to some. Besides it wasn't a joke; it was true :sunny

I'm no good at telling jokes

Morgan, I'm no good at telling jokes! For that matter, I'm not much good at anything ... but I'll try.

This joke did not come from Morgan. I heard it around a campfire late one night.

This same gentleman (Morgan, what does effete mean? Would it add anything to this joke?)

Anyway, the same gentleman, with the dog named Zeus, often traveled in his fiberglass trailer to Mexico with Zeus.

And when he was in Mexico, the man would often let Zeus romp around off the leash. But when play time was over, in Mexico, you know how the man called his dog:

"Hey Zeus ... please come here!"

Note to Morgan: I still like that joke, even if you didn't tell it to me!
