here is the deal. We are women who might be living in our trailer, and we have pets which we are not really willing to give up. We need a bathroom that works, and we are not wealthy. We love our casita but the thought os living in it full time with four dogs, and two humans is a bit tight. I do not mind making the minor repairs but do mind making the major ones. I do not mind traveling a little bit, but due to work contraints I cannot go further than maybe 700 miles from southern cal.

Your post seems to be, (at least the way I read it,) only a collection of statements.
So what exactly is your question here?

If you're looking for used 19feet or longer, you'll be looking for used 21 or 25 foot BigFoot, a Scamp or Escape or BigFoot 5th wheel, a 20 foot Oliver (doubt you'll find one used) or a 19 foot Escape (I KNOW you won't find one used).... or a sticky.

What weight can you tow and how much do you want to spend?

ok let my clarify. We are shopping for something at least 19' 5th or one of the others. We are not really wanting to spend more than 8,000 total. Our TV is a Toyota Tacoma.

I am willing to wait for the right deal. thanks for all your help on this site I love it here and often read and LOL on a daily basis.

You should be able to find something in that price range. I've seen 19-footers like Scamp 5th wheels go for 7 to 9 thousand in good shape and in models from late 90s to early 2000s. I think there are two on Ebay right now.

Here is the one in Palmdale, CA back on eBay that apparently did not sell the first time around. Very low price right now and ends April 5th. You should be able to run over and see this one.
