Lol, sorry Joe, this is my forever trailer. I love it, it's heavy but tracks well, has lots of room for me and the dog, grandchildren in a few years and the chandaliers are there to stay!!!

Biggar travel trailer wanted

I heard of one sitting in someone's yard but haven't seen it or know if it's for sale. Alberta and Sask have them just sitting in fields.

Best Idea.... Buy something else, fall in love with it and then your Biggar Trailer will appear in your local paper for exactly half as much as you have in your new love, but more than your s.o. will let you spend on yet another project.

Worked every time for me.

BTW: Give me a call when that happens, I'll let you spend a night in it before I tow it back to California

You are just going to have to keep your eyes every morning and afternoon on Fiberglass-rv-4sale.com as well as Craigslist & Kijji - best bets/highest probability of one showing up would be on the BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba Craigslist. Fiberglass-rv-4sale.com normally picks up most of the craigslist listings but there is often a delay and they do sometimes miss one or two listings.

As was suggested there are a number of them out in the Prairies but they are still covered in snow at this time so selling them probable is not on to many peoples minds.... more probable when the snow starts to melt in a couple of months.

About a year and a half ago there was a flurry of activity of Biggars changing hands. My definition of a flurry is about 3 More common to see 1 maybe 2 for sale in BC in the course of a year. Take a look under the Trailers Sold section of Fiberglass-rv-4sale to get a feel for the frequency in which they come on the market.

As Bob suggests if you buy a different trailer to get you by in the meantime that will almost guarantee a Biggar will show up for sale just down the street from you a few weeks later.

Thanks, Bob, Carol, I will keep looking. I already own a stick built camper, had 2 but donated one last fall. Just seems like one should be easier to find than this. If either of you hear of one please message me. Thanks Joe

Joe, this is not a Biggar but its a very cool trailer that is just as rare if not more so. Someone has done nice updates on it, the price seems more than fair . Don't know its interior roof height but due to the flat top its probable pretty good... you might want to ask the seller to measure it for you.

1971 Amerigo 16' - Oregon
