Biggar Pictures

Hi attached some pictures of the trailer. I think it is pretty original as we are only the second owners. As you can see there was some moisture around the top vent that made a stain before we siliconed it , there is a slight separation of the fiberglass on the right hand side of the sink area. The fridge , stove and furnace all work, and last time we used it the water pump worked too.

Hello All,

I just wanted to give you an update on our Biggar. Our plans to work on the Biggar stalled. Now after threat of selling the Biggar to interested parties, hubby has gone on overdrive the last couple of weeks! LOL. He has been spending all his free time in the backyard working on it. HE HAS GUTTED IT! Seating, dinette, cabinets, bunk beds, fridge, stove/oven, half the flooring and insulation...gone! He is doing fiberglass repairs (and getting pretty good at it I must say), lots of trips to the store and recently came back with the largest roll of fiberglass I have ever seen! Shall I be worried?!! He is getting it ready to be painted and has made contact with a company. Maybe I should put an ad in for our house, then he will feel the need to renovate the kitchen! Hahahahahaha!

David,

I didn't know it would make him do what he has done so far. When we first got the Biggar, we took out all the wooden drawers and we sanded, primed and repainted them. He doesn't have any experience with fiberglass, we had a Boler previously but it didn't need much repair. He has spent countless hours learning from other owners on this site, youtube, and talking to experts at stores. He is very patient and has been enjoying and taking pride on this learning experience. I am so proud! My part in it now is mostly clean-up, he is in a groove! We cannot wait to make it our own and take it out!
