Hope your prepared to travel as you may need to come to Canada to buy one ;-) I believe they were only made for a fairly short time - mid to late 70's in Winnipeg Manitoba. You can search the Fiberglass-rv-4sale.com under other trailers to look at previous sales & locations. Have only seen a couple of them here in BC over the last 6 years or so.

I'm willing to travel, or have it shipped depending on time constraints.

Gonna buy it sight unseen? I thought Missouri was the "show me" state.

Lol...It is. Just depends on location. Winnipeg is less than 900 miles straight north.

I have been. I've even found a few but every phone call ends with....I just sold that. So I thought I would ask for a little help in locating one that hasn't been sold yet. Joe

In the past couple of years, I have seen Biggar's come up and just sit on kijiji for an extended period of time at what I thought was a reasonable price. I am glad that someone has seen the value in these trailers.

Ab (Canada) - 1980 - Biggar - $1500
CANADA - 1978 - Bigger 19ft - $2500

Sometimes they do sit for more than a few days for sale. A lot depends on their location - for example here in BC if the trailer is on Vancouver Island or up in North or Eastern part of the province they can sit around for sale longer than the same trailer would if it was closer to Vancouver - especially if its winter months. People not so quick to travel to see them.

Best to take a look at Fiberglass-rv-4sale.com first thing each morning as well as Kijiji and Craigslist for western Canada cities - such as Vancouver, Winnipeg, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton - although Fiberglass-rv-4sale.com seems to pick up most of the Craigslist listings, not sure about the Kijiji ones.

I would never buy sight unseen? To many scammers out there. I had a friend two years ago that was buying a Class A motorhome. After many phone conversations and pictures sent; he sent a $10,000 cashiers check for the down payment. He then drove three states to pick up the unit and make final payment. He was on the phone with the seller several times during the drive. Arrived at the address; knocked on the door. The home owner answered. Correct address, but the home owner didn't own a Class A. He called the seller. "No longer in service".

I believe that quite a few people see value in these trailers but biggars are a heavy trailer especially in the fiberglass world. I have bought several high dollar purchases online sight unseen, but I always hire a 3rd party to inspect! Trust everyone, but always verify. Joe

I bought my Biggar sight unseen but I sent my nephew over to look at it. He didn't know anything about fiberglass trailers but everything was working on it, so I bought it. The sellers knew his girlfriend, so he brought the trailer over from Vancouver Island for me without any money changing hands. I gave him the plates and a check...everyone was happy.
