Boler Wanted near Vancouver BC

Hello,

I'm looking for a 13 ft. Boler near Vancouver, BC. I'd be delighted to find one ready for action for a decent price. I'm also happy to do some of the general aesthetics but want the body, wiring, windows, and stove/fridge in sound working order. I have two kids, so need the bunk beds to be functional.

Lisa, you are probable already doing this but if you go to Craigs List Vancouver and just use the search function on Boler there are a number of them listed in the lower mainland.

Don't get stuck on one kind, Trillium put out a pretty good unit for many years. Old Bolers don't have enought windows that open, only 2 on some models.

My friend Sandy who's a Bolerite sent me this info that was posted on Bolerama... maybe you could convince them to haul it to BC for you...

We are in Saskatoon and are moving back to BC to a condo and can't take our Boler with us - so we are needing to sell it within the next six weeks.

The rubber on the ceilings is in excellent shape, the tires are only a couple of years old, the entire suspension system has been redone and raised up with really good shocks (it sits higher and has way better shock absorption than most Bolers) and it is in really great shape.

We made it into a "Boler Built for Two" by removing the front couch and making that area into a small dinette so the back can stay down as a bed all the time (if one person gets up before the other and wants to sit and have a coffee they can do that as the bed doesn't have to be rearranged and put into a table/dinette). We still have all the couch parts, so it could be put back to the original if someone wants.

It also has a forced air propane furnace with thermostat so it is very warm - we camped all year round in Vancouver in it (including New Years Day once!) and we have camped right up until Remembrance Day in it in Saskatchewan. It also has a port-a-potty with straps/tie downs.

Right now it has our bikes and camping gear stored in it and I won't be able to clean it out for a few weeks until our house sells, but if someone wants to look at it now knowing that it will be thoroughly cleaned out and spotless prior to possession, they are welcome to call for a viewing - our number is 306-664-7091.


It's a great Boler and we would want $4200 for it obo.

Thanks Donna! While that looks fab, she mentions she made it a "Boler for Two" by removing the front couch. I have two kidlets, so I need all the sleeping space.

Ron, I hear you. The reason I'm most focused on the Boler is that I think it will actually fit in my garage - barely. It seems the Trillium is a bit bigger (I just saw a Boler and a Trillium side by side this past weekend and it was fairly obvious). That said, I should actually do the measurements...I might be surprised. Trilliums also seem to be a bit more expensive....so....that is a factor too. Thanks! I love this forum already.
