Don't want to be eggless anymore!

I am looking for a 13' egg...might consider a 16 as well, but it has to sleep 4. I have decided that renovating is probably not going to be my forte so it will need to be in good condition. I am in MN and would like the egg to be within a days drive or so...let me know what you have. I am ready to buy and can take it off your hands....thanks!

I haven't heard of search tempest....I am running a CL notifier on my phone, but there is an hour delay between when things get posted and when things show on my phone....I think I missed two today! I have been checking the classifieds here, running a nationwide CL search every night and checking fiberglass rv's 4 sale twice a day....I think I am obsessed!

Search Tempest searches in a defined radius. There is a way to get an RSS feed, though I've never done it.

Unless two of your four sleepers are young children, I don't think that there are many 13'ers that will fit your needs. Most that sleep more than two have a very skinny bunk bed arrangement, with about an 80 lb limit for the upper bunk.
BTW: There aren't many, if any, on this site that want their FGRV "taken off their hands". Most guard them with their lives and value them slightly above their oldest male child.

The bottom bunk on the Scamp is actually fairly wide -with the upper one being the narrow one - I agree the upper bunk is weight restricted but I have had up to 115lbs on it - either way most kids once they reach weighing 80lbs or the age of 11 or 12 are happier camping in their own tent beside the trailer..... or at least the kids that I am use to camping with do.

The kid seems even more valuable with a trailer.

I am partial to the Trillium 4500. The proportions are just slightly more generous. The dinette / bed is close to a queen in the 4500, where in the 1300 closer to a double. The bottom bunk in the gaucho is comfortable for a full sized adult. I have slept in it. The top bunk is larger, but the weight restriction still applies. One of my 15 year old girls could sleep there, but that is about it.

Since you live in Minnesota why not give Scamp a call. See if they have a trade in or will make you a deal on something on their lot.

If haven't already noticed, you'll pay close to new prices for one in good condition and ready to camp.

My 19 foot 5th wheel is pretty close to you and prices right. you could sleep 4 and still keep the table setup for meals. I will be in Waterloo Iowa friday showing it to someone. Please take a look at my posting.

Check out the 78 Beachcomber I just posted, with some creativity you could build a front bunk!
