Fiberstream in Montreal or nearby?

Hi!

I have discovered this forum not long ago, and find the Fiberstream really interesting.

I am no exactly ready to buy one yet, but I would be really interested in seing one for real.

I see that most of them are in the US (even more in the south of the US), but if somebody has one in the Greater Montreal area (or not too far in Quebec, Ontario, or the US), I would be interested in having a look at it.

Thanks!

Welcome Raphael, I hate to tell you but I suspect you might be waiting a long time to see one in your neck of the woods. Actually I dont think I have seen one yet in Canada... hummm. You may need to be willing to drive a long way if you really want to see one or you might get lucky and find one shows up at one of the rally's near you. The rally map is located here.

To the best of my memory I believe the closest one to you currently resides in Pennsylvania, USA. The owner drove all the way to the west coast to buy it.

There is a Canadian Fiber Stream ... just outside of Edmonton. I bought mine in southern Montana some 7 years ago.

I agree with you Raphael, it is special.

One of our bucket list items is to repeat a Coast-to-Coast trip I did in 1978. To Vancouver BC, into Washington State, through the US to Maine, up to New Brunswick, and back home through Canada - A 5-week tent camping jaunt then.

Vic

I was born in Montreal and own a Fiberstream but alas, I live in Washington state. If I ever get a more powerful truck I may venture up north toward Montreal one day and visit family. I have not been camping at all this year. I was to replace the water heater and realized that the floor was completely rotted. I am in the process of completely renovating the forward end of the trailer from the bed down. Thank God for the Forum and the great help, particularly from Victor and Frederick so in spite of a bad knee, I am making progress and learning a lot. If you ever find one to buy you may want to get on this site and ask what to look for. The rotten floor is a big one.
