Trailer: 2006 Scamp 13 ft
Posts: 9
I am looking for a newer Scamp 13 or similar in the Chicagoland area. I need one with the front bunk option, not the bathroom, and I would rather it didn't have AC (I would not be able to fit it in the garage with the AC on the roof). It would need to have electric brakes, though I suppose I could get those installed later. Ideally it would be well maintained and ready to go camping.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric,

This one just posted in Spring Bay, depending on your locale in Chicago Area; a couple hrs drive.

Hey Nakita,

Thank you for the heads up! I will definitely keep my eye on that one. Fortunately it is close by, so I could take a look at it this weekend.

Eric:

Don't take too long to make contact. These trailers go fast. We bought ours in 10 minutes with only online pictures! Happily, it turned out to be a great decision.

CindyL,

You're not kidding! I saw a scamp on Craigslist Milwaukee on Friday, but I couldn't get up there fast enough. It was gone yesterday.

I do learn though... I have already contacted the Ebay guy and will be seeing the trailer this weekend.

Well, I made the trek down to SW Missouri and bought George O.'s Scamp this past weekend. It had more options than we were looking for, but George kept it in fantastic shape and showed me every little thing on the trailer. It was a great experience. We just have to get it registered and then we will be off!
