Looking for a used trailer somewhere near-ish to San Luis Obispo, CA. I am hoping to find something small, lightweight, easy to tow that will fit someone 6'5". It need have only one bed (at least queen size), bathroom w/ shower would be nice too. Kitchen can be bare bones, don't really need dining table or elaborate seating, etc.

It can be a fixer, we can deal with that! And (not coincidentally) it should be, ahem, inexpensive.

If you know of something, or have recommendations on which models I should be looking for, please pm!

Thanks!

Hi,
I have a 16' Amerigo I just listed. I can't get pic's on this site but, wouldn't mind e-mailing them to you. It has a dinette that converts to a double bed and a front couch that also converts to a double.
If you'd like to see it on Craigslist Click Here.
take care
sherry

I have seen many listings in the CA area, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding what you need. Have you looked in the "referals" forum here in the FGRV site? there are updated listings there.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the tips! I'm learning a lot as I hunt - we've realized that a really important feature is a queen or king bed. One of us is 6'5" and in a double bed I would end up in a wretched ball curled in the corner listening to the tall one muttering about short beds..... (it's a good thing he's cute!)

And since our other requirement is small trailer size, there are fewer choices. Smaller trailers don't tend to have the bigger beds!

There are a few models that have both and I'm getting closer to figuring it out.

Margaret, here's a very good topic about bed sizes, be sure to check out the chart provided by Brian B-P: Bed sizes, What are the dimensions of the main bed in your egg?

Thanks everyone for the tips - We are new owners of a 1979 Fiber Stream, which we bought from Ken & Chris, members of this site! It has everything we need and it is WAY SUPER CUTE besides!

Thanks again, Ken ~
