I have a 78 VW Transporter that I'd like to have a campter for. I've been searching and re searching for a while and think that ive come down to the Compact Jr. in a 13 or so foot range.

I'd like one in useable to "good" condition or better on the mid-atlantic coast, or as close to it as possible. lol

Thanks in advance.

Dave.

Ummm, is there even any sort of GCWR or max trailer rating published for the bus?

I must scare easily, but the thought of even a lightly loaded 13' egg behind one gives me pause.

VW owners have reported success over the years with the Eriba Puck which is, of course, not fiberglass but aluminum. Other than that, I have the same reservations as Steve.

here's one currently on eBay:

Also try The Samba

There is usually a puck or two there. I know theres a Trails West in texas, I think, that has been on forever. His price is high, but given the time it's been up there, he may just be ready to negotiate.

Pucks were designed for busses. They would be your best (But not least expensive) bet.
