In the world of buying an FGRV there is but one rule:
"He who hesitates will still be looking tomorrow".
Anything that's in decent condition and at a decent price will be gone tomorrow.
If it's still there in a week. there is usually something wrong, ranging from condition, impossible location, ownership issues or a just plain obnoxous seller.
In buying our last 3 FGRV's (Hunter, Scamp
& a Bigfoot) we responded to look at them and/or and showed cash within hours of the ads appearing. In all cases the seller already had a list of back-up buyers waiting for us to back out, some offering a higher price. On the Bigfoot
, the seller offered us $500 to back out.
The corollary to the above advice is: "He who hesitates is doomed to live in a sticky"
