Lilly,
I'm guessing central Iowa would be too far away. But there's a Burro parked near a farmhouse about 10 miles from me that I've never seen move in the last year or so. So I'm guessing it's in rough shape.... even if it were given away, a major project this far from you is probably ridiculous????
But, I could go make inquiries.......
Gary

[And, if it is for sale, I can try to get some pictures of it, inside & out.]

Just those two brands Lilly? How about a U-Haul or Companion... they're similar to a Burro and of course Scamp/Casita/El Macho and Eco (+ others) are similar to a Boler.

Lilly,
I've got a name & phone number for the Burro owner in central IA. So far, no answer on the phone. I'll try to catch him at home tomorrow, and pass along whatever info I can come up with........

Lilly,
This is starting to feel like a lead that goes nowhere. Found the camper, but no one at home---at least no one would come to a door, either home or shop next door to it.
And no one answers my calls, nor does an answering machine pick up.

Trailer looks fairly intact, but with the "patina" of one that's been sitting for quite a while. Tires had air. Windows all there---peeked through the door glass at interior, which looks disheveled, but not terrorized. I crouched down at rear of camper---what I could see of floor looked intact, as opposed to sagging down or pieces-missing.

The homestead had the look of "older man who lives alone, and can't pass up a good deal on a project, but never finishes one... and never parts with one."
So, I'm guessing he either wouldn't part with the camper, or would want some real money for it......... for something that would take a ton of elbow-grease and presumably some money to fix up.
Sorry to be pouring cold water on a potential "lead"..... no good vibe here that I could pick up on.

Pics below, though, as promised.........
Gary

[If you want to pursue it further, you can PM me, and I'll pass along the owner's name & phone number.]

Aww... That's sad! I'm a little down as I also was looking at a Boler and found one I liked only to have the seller tell me he couldn't wait a week to sell it to me...as I just sold my other camper and am waiting for funds to clear...soooo sad..

But thank you so much groys02 for going through with what you said and inquiring about the burro
