Bob is spot on. If you're looking for anything other than an all-molded-towable, you'd be in luck... THOSE are available everywhere all the time. It depends on what you want/need/budget/layout rather than just what's available. I can get in my truck and drive about five miles and have about 50-75 trailers to choose from.... don't want any of them. YMMV

Make a reasonable offer...

Make an offer, maybe they are just leaving room to reduce their price. If they see you are serious and have ready funds, they may drop to their " real " price pretty quickly. In the used trailer business, most of us are amateurs....

The San Diego 2002 unit is down already. No surprise there.
Some sellers do indeed come off their asking price, but not all. We tried so hard to get a seller this fall to budge, just a wee little bit, from a very HIGH ask. Nope. They sat on it for months. It's their right. My right to just move on too. Shrug.

I saw it and we made a deal. It is pristine with an awning, screen door, heater, wired for AC, shelves in closet, fantastic fan etc. Your comments were very helpfull. I will write again when it's actually in my driveway. I'm so happy! Thank you all!!

Congrats on the new-to-you Scamp

As mentioned earlier. If it's a valid deal at that price, it will quickly be gone with the wind.

Sounds like you are getting a great camper that needs no work at all - Happy Camping to you
And be sure to post photos of your smiling face in front of your new Scamp when you pick it up, because we just love photos!
