Just beginning our search

We're looking to upgrade from our pop-up to a FGC. We don't know enough about which make and model is which but here is what we're looking for: 16 or so feet, reasonable exterior condition with small dings only in the FG, interior condition can be in bad shape (I can rebuild it) or good shape as long as the price reflects the condition, wet bath would be nice but not required, toilet is a must, a/c in working order or factory installed provisions for adding/replacing one is a must. Thanks Vince

I don't know what part of Ga. you are from but there will be a FG trailer meet at Cherokee NC next week. Most every make of trailer will be there. They have an open house to view the trailers. That is the best place to get an idea if what trailer/price range fits your needs.

A first question to answer is: "What will you be towing with". Some of the FGRV's get a little heavy, especially the 16-17'ers. Let us know what ya got for a TV.....

And, by all means, if you can get to a gathering, don't miss the chance.

2014 Casita

We have a 2014 Casita which we love but circumstances are forcing us to sell. This is a great little RV in like new condition. The only blemish is a small tear in the seam of the spare tire cover. Will consider delivery for cost of fuel only. I will answer other questions in a private message.

I tend to look at it the opposite way. Once you decide what you need for in a trailer, you could then choose the tow vehicle to suit. A fiberglass trailer will outlast many a tow vehicle. If the tow you have suits the trailer you need, bonus.

Of course if the trailer is only planned for a few years use, and you definitely intend on using what you already have as a tow, then the capacities of the tow vehicle should be considered.
