Light for 2

Hi, we recently decides to look at some lightweight trailers and we're referred to this forum.
We are searching for a small 13 or 16 foot trailer that isn't in need of too much TLC.
A Scamp, Casita, Burro, or Alto seem to be the best options for us. A bathroom is a necessity. Only needs to sleep two and a service animal.
Appreciate you all giving a heads up if you see or hear of something.
Thanks!
Adriane

Hi Adrianne and welcome to the group.

13' with bathrooms are very scarce and, at least in our world, can get a bit heavy.
Most 16's tend to have bathrooms, but are even heavier.
Give us a few more clues and help will be forthcoming:

Most important: What will you be towing with?
What is your approximate budget, and do you have any issues with age of units.

BTW: The Alto, while interesting, isn't a member of the molded fiberglass family.

Hey Bob. We are towing with a 2008 Lexus RX 350 with 225K miles. Sorry about the Alto mistake.

Welcome to the forum, Adriane!

"Bathrooms" range from a privacy closet with a porta-potty (some are really nice), a toilet and black tank, right up to a full wet bath with toilet, shower, and sink. Each step up adds weight and complexity. A shower also means a HW heater and often a second propane tank.

Does your RX350 have the factory tow package? Not 100% sure, but I believe that includes a larger alternator and heavy duty engine and transmission cooling upgrades.

Hi-
We're putting our scamp 13 on the market. You can search FiberglassRv (this site) under: [2010 13' Remodel - before and after shots ] to see the inside. Everything is in perfect order inside and out. Let me know if you have any interest.
