Looking for a 16' Scamp, or 17' Casita, or Bigfoot

Hello,

My wife and I are looking to buy an used 16' Scamp or 17' Casita or Bigfoot, with shower and toilet. We live in Bozeman, MT but are willing to travel within reason. Please get in touch with us if you know of any for sale within say 700-800 miles of us. Thanks!

Josh, I live in central Idaho and have a 2003 17' Bigfoot in excellent condition. I expect to price it in the high teens.

RE: FGRV Wanted
To elicit more/better responces you might give us a few tips about the following:

1. What Age are you interested in? Your list includes FGRV's up to almost 35 years old
2. What condition do you require? Fixer = 1 and Turnkey =10
3. How much, if any, refurbishing/repairs can you do/want to do?
4. There is a very wide weight range in what you have listed, What will you be towing with? If you are looking at Mfg weights, ferget them.
Look here:

Trailer Weights in the Real World

5. What is your budget range? Keep in mind, that with almost any under about an "8" that there will be after purchase expenses.

Good luck hunting.....

I have a 98 Casita 17' with bath and roof air & fantastic fan. I just got it last fall. Over winter I decided that I want to get a 16' new Scamp. I need a lighter one that I can pull also with my mini van. It needs some TLC & a good cleaning, but nothing serious that I can find. I got it in late October and just parked it for the winter. I did put new tires on it.
I am on North Dakota.

We're thinking about selling our 2006 Casita Liberty Deluxe, close to Portland, Oregon.

Bigfoot trailer for sale

We have a 17.5 Bigfoot for sale. It's a 2007 model with all the bells and whistles. We bought it new and have cared for it, dare I say, lovingly. It's in great shape, clean and sweet. We'd like to get $19,000 for it. We're in Bellingham, Washington--which makes for a great trip from Bozeman! Respond here, or e-mail me, Clyde Curley, at susanclyde@rockisland.com, or call us (my wife's name is Susan) directly at 360-738-6862. Hope to hear from you!

P.S. Don't know if the attachment, a photo of the rig, made it through. I'm happy to send you an e-mail with that picture.)

Josh, we have a 1994, 17" Bigfoot in great condition. We live near Ronan, MT and will be home the first week in May. This Bigfoot has lots of additional features, HD TV, new radio system, new stove, microwave, 15" aluminum wheels, roof rack, ladder, hitch haul, Fantastic fan with rain sensor and much more. It has front and back insulated curtains and I made foil inserts for the other windows for added warmth if needed. We replaced the foam cushions for the bed. Newer cushions for the table booth arrangement. It does need a new hot water heater that I had planned to replace myself. Can be accomplished easily if you are handy. I just repacked the wheel bearings, new brakes in 2012, one year old battery, 3500 pound axle that is a spring over axle for greater ground clearance. It has lots of storage space and upgrades. We can discuss price if you are interested. MTG
