Hello out there,

I have been looking for a Burro wide body 17 foot for a year.

A Casita could work too.

Anyone know of any for sale???

Heidi,
Welcome to the forum
If you are serious, check out all the features of this website to educate yourself.
Keep looking, it requires patience, money quickly available (even on weekends), and a willingness to travel to pick it up.
You should have a checklist in hand, so you can question the seller and then use it again if you decide to physically check it out.
As you've perhaps discovered, they sell quite rapidly. The old saying, "if you snooze you lose" is very appropriate when it comes to fiberglass RV's.
Many of us, myself included, have lost an opportunity by not acting in a timely fashion.
If possible, attend a rally and tour as many different FGRV's as possible so you have a good mental picture when one is for sale.
Continue to post, and keep us aware of progress,

Kurt & Ann K.

Can't have mine!!!!!!

Visit the Oregon Gathering in July. You don't have to be a camper to come see the trailers and join the fun.

Just about EVERY kind of egg will be there. Except for the clones and offshoots of the 13s that are basically duplicates of the original models, I can't think of a kind of trailer that WON'T be there.

Thats where I saw my first and only Burro 17 inside until I got mine.

Can't have mine either!!!

Gina's idea is a good one. Ours was the one she saw there, but we escaped anyway. Apparently a close call.

Heidi, I'd be HAPPY to sell you either Per's or Gina's 17' Burros or BOTH! Just contact me off-line and I'll tell you where to send the cash and give you the address where you can pick up the trailer of your choice. If you want Gina's, you may have to cut off a Denver Boot and deal with a couple of attack Beagles before you can take it home, but it's really no big deal. If you want Per's you should make sure you have at least a 3/4 ton truck to tow it with because of the weight of all of the really nice accessories and mods Per's done to it. Anyway, any reasonable offer will be accepted...

Looking forward to your PM.

Roger

p.s. <pssst> yeah... Heidi... <pssst> over here... and if either of them try to sell you my Bigfoot first... it's a scam. Yeah... yeah... I know it's hard to believe, but you can't trust 'em. My Bigfoot ain't for sale, and besides, it's is junk and not nearly as nice as their Burros... so you wouldn't want it anyway... Oh... and I wouldn't call to tell 'em you're coming. They take naps at all hours of the day and night... so um... you'll just want to go over, hook up and leave... ok?

Heidi,
Here's your golden opportunity, don't let it pass you by! Gina's had to have the "shoes" replaced, but this one is advertised with new ones.
We're wishing you luck,
Kurt & Ann K.

Keep your spirits up! You'll find one. The buyer for Gina's 13' Burro drove from Washington State to San Diego to get it. Some people find that they have to go far to realize the dream.
