Hi
A friend of mine sent me your email stating you were looking for an Escape 17A
I live in the lower mainland and have a 17B – not sure what the difference is??
Purchased it last August out of OLDS Alberta and may be too heavy for my planned
trip across Canada in 18 months – thus was ‘thinking’ of selling.
IF you cannot locate an A model – and you would consider the ‘B’ model –
you may want to consider my unit.
Advise IF of any interest.
Dennis

Escape Plan A doesn't have a bathroom. Plan B does.

Thanks Dennis,
As Donna mentioned the 17-B has a bathroom. We've decided we'd like to see if we can find a 17-A first. If it turns out you have a 17-A let me know at the email at top. If it's a B I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling! Cheers,
James

I would not wait long..... a used 17 Escape whether it be an A or a B plan do not come up all that often here in BC. A handful at best in a year. More common to have to head south to get a used one and import it back into Canada.

kind of funny/strange...

if someone did NOT want a bathroom they could get by with a smaller/lighter trailer than a 17 Escape....

just because a trailer HAS a bathroom doesn't mean you have to use it...dump, clean and disinfect the black tank....after that convert/use the bathroom as a mega closet, kennel or WHY....

it's way easier to sell a 17 foot trailer WITH a bathroom than one without

to each his own....

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'm aware these don't come up and it seems the 17-B are preferred and easier to sell. We are willing to travel to the US for the right 17-A depending on price etc.

The issue for us is that we place a premium on bed and sitting space combined; the 17-A overall has more of that in a configuration that suits us. The 19 Escape is also attractive but weight is also something we want to keep as low as possible, hence the 17-A. Every unit has trade-offs for sure.

cheers,
James
